TIC * The Intuitive Cowl
I started this project during my very first visit to Lion Brand Studio! I was in New York for Vogue Knitting Live and went to the store for a friendly monthly event called “Flicks in Sticks”! On that day the attraction was the adorable movie “Let’s Make Love” with Marilyn Monroe, who plays an off Broadway actress who knits to calm herself down!
When I saw the display with the LB Collection yarns, I immediately fell in love with them all! The basic choice for a fast shopping before the movie started was the Angora Merino (DK or Light Worsted Yarn / 1.75 oz./50 g (131 yd/120 m)/ 80% Extrafine Merino Wool, 20% Angora).
The most enjoyable and relaxing possible way, I sat down with a friend and a lot of knitters and some animated crocheters and began to knit the cowl!
Do you know when everything is perfect? An amazing store, people who love craft, yarn and an adorable movie! Quite organically, I would say even intuitive, all the details of the project came to my mind! It was too good and that’s why I’m really enjoying to share this project!
With this same vibe, I have shown TIC* to the Crazy Knitting Ladies online knitting group and it could not have been more incredible: I received the most precious compliments and the girls from Tricoteiras.com have created a KAL for this project! It was total fun! For nearly two weeks, knitting friends gave me the greatest encouragement making cowls with various types of yarns! Joy “mode on”!
