At Vogue Knitting Live we received cute cards from Pantone & VK with a color selection for Spring 2012. I’ve loved the card and even more the colors! However, at that moment, I didn’t research about what was going on between Pantone, VK and this color list. This event is always so fantastic, there’s so much happening at the same time that we can’t afford to miss a thing!
But as a curious knitter and marketing person, I already had registered in my “mind files”: pantone/colors/fashion! And as I was browsing on the net, reading fashion magazines and observing fashion store’s windows, there was something here and there about Pantone and Fashion Colors! Read more

The first result of Aloísio’s class is my first granny blanket! And I’m looking forward to meet another adorable friend, Sandra Jay, in São Paulo in a few weeks! She will teach me how to mend the grannys as I go! YAY! Read more
This week I saw at Facebook a note about the I Love Yarn Day next October 14. I had no idea that there was actually a day for loving yarn and it made me laugh because I tend to celebrate yarn every day when I’m at the computer or just dropping by my LYS!
The Craft Yarn Council is suggesting something bigger than that! The idea is to engage people to celebrate yarn trough teaching somebody to knit or crochet, doing something for charity, giving yarn as a gift, knitting or crocheting in public and so on.
