As a crafter, I’m amazed by the friendships and connections made online, among people from all over the world. There’s no more such a thing as loneliness when we think about how many knitters, crocheters, seamstress etc etc, we can find online to share ideas.
At Vogue Knitting Live we received cute cards from Pantone & VK with a color selection for Spring 2012. I've loved the card and even more the colors! However, at that moment, I didn't research about what was going on between Pantone, VK and this color list. This event is always so fantastic, there's so much happening at the same time that we can't afford to miss a thing!

This week I saw at Facebook a note about the I Love Yarn Day next October 14. I had no idea that there was actually a day for loving yarn and it made me laugh because I tend to celebrate yarn every day when I’m at the computer or just dropping by my LYS!
The Craft Yarn Council
is suggesting something bigger than that! The idea is to engage people to celebrate yarn trough teaching somebody to knit or crochet, doing something for charity, giving yarn as a gift, knitting or crocheting in public and so on.
like to think that one of the precious things in life is the wisdom of allowing ourselves to be positively impacted by daily beautiful things. For a few minutes just forget about what is bothering us and contemplate what is available to us at the moment. After admiring a landscape, or some flowers or even children playing together, maybe we can heal ourselves from a momentarily bad humor crisis. Read more
How to describe the relation between knitters and yarn? I simply don’t know! Actually I think I could tell a few things about it, but nothing could compare to the feeling of finding an exquisite composition or rediscovering a traditional one that up to that moment wasn’t that appealing. Nothing could ever describe that tiny moment we catch our breath because of an unusual blend of colors on a hand died yarn or the unpretentious beauty of a yarn that has been in the market for long.
