Cadhla Shawl

I'm happy for being able to design a feminine shawl with a worsted weight yarn! Because is worked with a thicker yarn, Cadhla shawl is a fast knit project, perfect for Xmas gifts! Here in Brazil we are celebrating the work from the wool producers from Fazenda Caixa D'gua. They focus on cruelty free shearing, and their yarns are naturally dyed with flowers and native plants. The result is a ultra soft single-ply yarn with the most beautiful colors. Cadhla Shawl is my way to congratulate their extraordinary job! You can download Cadhla pattern for free at:   Cadhla info: Yarn: 260 yds / 238 m of worsted weight yarn Sample shown in Da Fazenda (100% wool single-ply – 200gr 380m / 415 yds) color: Pau Campeche   Needles: One circular US 8 / 5mm 32”long (or size to obtain gauge) One circular US 10 / 6mm 32” long (or one size bigger than the size to obtain gauge)     Finished Measurements: ***measurements after blocking 49” / 124cm wingspan and 14” / 35,5cm height at center back.   Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 4 X 4” of Stockinette St. Notes: Cadhla is worked bottom-up starting with the lace border.
