A few months ago, Valesca and Clara, friends and owners of
Tricoteiras.com have arranged a KAL for the
TIC cowl. It was like an experience from another planet: so much fun! Most of us follow the website and participate at an online community for knitters called
Crazy Knitting Ladies. We are in contact almost every day and during this period we share knitting experiences that goes from the choice of yarn to a ideal cast off a project! The previous KAL was a total thrill! As I opened my eyes every morning, I checked my email to see the news shared by the participants!
We were chatting the other day and the idea of doing a KAL over at
Tricoteiras.com came up! This time we are going to knit the
Dalilah shawl and
two smaller versions that were created as a request from knitting friends!
The KAL begins officially on July 15 and ends on December 2, 2011. The idea is for the project to be enjoyable and without the stress of having to rush to finish it!
Participants that registers the project over on
Ravelry and that finishes one of the versions of the
Dalilah shawl until the deadline, will run up for a "sensational" prize! (LOL! just so excited !!!). In fact we have three prizes: one for each version of the shawl. Valid for those who live on planet Earth!
Two versions are now available on Ravelry:
Dalilah Shawl is here and the smaller version,
Dalilah S here. In a few days out or Shawlette XS version!

During the KAL, I will be posting tips for knitters here at PeaceKnitLove and at
Tricoteiras.com. Another room to expand and streamline our communication is the
Tricoteiras.com Ravelry's group:
check here. At this space the questions will be answered in English and Portuguese in a maximum of 24 hours.
To further strengthen the bonds of our global community of knitters, Valesca Clara and have created the image bellow, that can be placed on blogs, pages, Facebook profiles, etc. Thank you a lot, girls! Really!
Let's have some fun together?
PeaceKnitLove, Paula.
